History with Charlie

We have found Charlie to be excellent value for money. My daughter has had tuition for several months now. He has approached teaching with high levels of energy and commitment. Lessons have been balanced in terms of teaching information and facilitating, consolidating and sharing knowledge. Charlie has always been positive and encouraging throughout. My daughter is able to approach her exams with better knowledge, understanding and increased confidence. We are very keen to keep Charlie and have already secured his time to work with my son!

Charlie tutored my son for his History A level re-take. The sessions were well prepared and engaging. He helped my son with course content and essay structure in readiness for the exams. He set work to be completed and provided informative feedback. My son felt confident and well prepared for his exams.

Charlie is an excellent tutor. Not only does he make sure that my daughter understands the content, he helps her practice her essay and exam technique so that she feels more confident for her History A-Level. Charlie`s lessons are interactive. He gives my daughter tasks throughout the lesson and provides her with useful feedback. If she is unsure about something, he does not make her feel judged and instead works through it with her. I would highly recommend!

Charlie is a professional, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and well-organised history tutor. He is helping our year 11 son prepare for GCSE exams by providing lessons for topics he missed at school as well as exam preparation skills. Charlie provides our son with dynamic and interesting lessons, sets relevant homework and provides supporting lesson materials. We (the parents) have access to a lesson plan/progress spreadsheet and regular feedback. We`re pleased with progress so far.

Really understanding and listens to what you particularly struggle with and in what areas you would want to improve and tries his best to incorporate it in the lessons. His lessons are fun and informative !

Charlie has been and still is, helping out my daughter with her history GCSE exam. She`s been finding his lessons very useful and helpful. He’s a very diligent and accommodating tutor, covering topics as requested and flexible with the content. He’s been providing my daughter with past papers and homework and has been questioning her during every lesson, to make sure everything covered was clear. Charlie gives feedback to his students during every lesson, so that they know what and how they need to improve. I find this to be extremely helpful.
